TalkTrack is a voice-powered personal expense tracker for iPhone. It is developed and operated as an independent app. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at camilabs.au+Talktrack@gmail.com.
1. Expense data (financial information)
Your expenses, budgets, categories, and recurring entries are stored on your device using Apple's secure local database. This data never passes through our servers. You may optionally enable:
2. Voice and microphone data
When you record an expense by voice, your iPhone's on-device speech recognition converts your speech into text. The raw audio is never stored or transmitted anywhere. The resulting text transcript is sent to an AI language model (via the OpenRouter API) solely to identify the expense amount, category, and description. The transcript is not stored by us beyond that single API call.
3. Account information (email address and user ID)
If you create an account, your email address and a unique user ID are stored with our authentication provider (Supabase). This is used only to secure your account and is never shared with advertisers or analytics providers.
4. Purchase and subscription information
Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat. TalkTrack never directly handles payment information. Please refer to RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how subscription data is processed.
